Tetlow King in Malawi
The Bwengu Medical project is a village community project for a new Medical Centre and Nurses houses in Malawi. The scheme was designed for a charity run by residents at Lime Tree Village who contacted Tetlow King via client Retirement Villages requesting help.
Tetlow King produced designs, drawings and a movie presentation that enabled the village chiefs and fund raisers here to be shown how the project would look in order to drum up money and local support.
The charity provide some of the materials and the labour is provided by a consortium of villages. It cost between £2500 and £5000 to build the Medical Centre which is now slowly being completed.The latest update on the progress of the project is illuminating and can be read by CLICKING HERE
